bariloche, argentina
Bariloche is our home base. An authentic Argentinian mountain town, complete with plenty of cozy hostels, and a passion for Parilla and home brewed beer. The nearby resort, Cerro Catedral, is one of the largest in South America, and provides convenient access to virtually endless backcountry terrain.
The refugios scattered throughout area offer epic hut-to-hut touring, with warm meals and a backyard rich with steep skiing.
volcan osorno, chile
Osorno is a backcountry skier's playground. The cozy Teski hut lies at the base of the small Volcan Osorno ski resort, and offers ski-in/ski-out access to both on and off piste skiing. Located along the banks of Lago Llanquihue, and neighboring Volcan Calbuco, Osorno provides panoramic views of some of the most picturesque terrain that Chile has to offer.
volcan villarica, chile
With an active lava pool perched on its summit, Villarica is on of the most climactic touring destinations in South America. While, an active and popular summer tourist destination, complete with a marked summer trail system, don't let Villarica fool you. A steep head wall and foul summit fumes, make this volcano a full-on mountaineering objective in the winter.
volcan PUYEHUE, chile
Volcan Puyehue is a very special place. The first volcano when we cross the border to Chile, Puyehue boasts some incredible, remote, backcountry terrain. Accessible by horseback, the privately owned Puyehue hut is host to some wide-open, mellow ski bowls right outside its front door. While, a half-mile wide caldera provides spectacular, steep ski lines right into the mouth of the active volcano.
